This piece is an abstract interpretation of coral shapes found in the ocean. In her native language Spanish, “coral” also means multiple points ofview to tell a story. This inspiring material, with its mutability, has beenshaped in many different ways by many different cultures. She believes that from its history we can learn part of our cultural storytelling while respecting everyone’s point of view. This is emphasized by how the source of light can reflect or hide, creating different experiences, which is something she studies by photographing her pieces using only natural light.
